FAQ & support

Understand your four-day report and get help with your Amazon connection.

What does the app do?

Amazon Sales Grade reads your Amazon financial transactions and shows four days of released net proceeds, their daily average, population standard deviation, and a letter grade. It does not modify listings, prices, inventory, orders, or refunds.

Which dates are included?

Today and the previous three calendar days in UTC. Today is partial, and the query ends three minutes before the current time. Transactions are assigned to their Amazon posting date, which may differ from your local time zone.

How are proceeds and refunds calculated?

The report includes shipment and refund transactions with RELEASED or DEFERRED_RELEASED status. Their totals include Amazon fees. Refunds reduce proceeds on their posting date. Transfers, adjustments, and unrelated account transactions are excluded, so these totals represent released net proceeds rather than gross order revenue.

Why are my totals zero, delayed, or different from Seller Central?

Amazon financial data can lag by up to 48 hours. Orders that have not produced released financial transactions will not appear yet. Refunds can offset proceeds, and days without included transactions remain zero. Compare the same UTC posting dates and released net proceeds rather than order totals. Reload the dashboard to retrieve a fresh report.

What do the average and standard deviation show?

The average is the sum of the four daily totals divided by four, including zero days. Population standard deviation measures how much those totals vary around the average. Both appear as reference lines on the daily chart.

How is the letter grade calculated?

The grade uses the distance between standard deviation and average: abs(standard deviation − average) / abs(average).

A zero average produces N/A. The grade describes the relationship between these statistics; it is not a measure of growth, profitability, or business health. A higher grade does not necessarily mean more consistent daily proceeds.

What account and browser do I need?

You need an Amazon seller account and permission to authorize access to its financial data. Use a modern browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, plus an internet connection. There are no ASIN, product category, or minimum sales restrictions. The default configuration uses North America and USD. Other currencies in the report produce an error rather than being combined.

What if login fails or my session expires?

Return to the dashboard and start a fresh Amazon login. Complete authorization in the same browser with cookies enabled. Sessions can end when the server restarts, authorization expires, or you log out. To connect a different account, log out and authorize the intended Amazon seller account.

How is my connection handled?

Amazon authorization uses OAuth. Access and refresh tokens stay on the server; the browser stores an opaque session identifier. Logging out removes the app's server session.

How do I contact support?

Email support@servc.io with a description of the issue, any displayed error, the approximate time and time zone, and your browser name. For reporting questions, include the affected UTC dates and currency. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or client secrets.
